Bargello® is an Italian and Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in the beautiful Kimpton Hotel Arras.
Our casual fine dining restaurant offers a variety of private and semi-private event room spaces. Choose from The Chef’s Table that looks into our open kitchen or an outdoor event dining space that overlooks the vibrant streets of Asheville. The interior bodes floor to ceiling windows, custom-made scalloped ironwork, and airy tones throughout.
Our culinary team at Bargello, headed by Executive Chef Tyler Slade, draws inspiration for the cuisine from all regions of the Mediterranean, using locally sourced and regional harvested ingredients. Bargello also offers an extensive wine program, an expansive bar and seasonal cocktail menu.

This artfully designed space provides an exquisite dining atmosphere for up to 12 guests. The room itself, tucked beneath Bargello in the basement, is a hidden oasis that has been transformed into a private dining wine cellar. Your menu can consist of a multi-course tasting menu. Our culinary and bar teams will craft the perfect pairings, providing you and your guests with the ultimate dining experience.

Located in the main dining room of Bargello, the Chef’s Experience gives you and your guests direct communication with our culinary team. Our Chef’s will be interacting with you during dinner, explaining each course and guiding you through the experience.

Our patio is located in the heart of historic Pack Square, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant charms of downtown Asheville. Offering a mixture of high and low top tables, soft seating lounge areas, umbrellas and custom-built fire pit.

Bargello offers the option of booking the entire restaurant with a custom prix fixe menu. Accommodating up to 64 guests with the full attention of our staff, your guests will experience hospitality at its finest.

2nd Floor Meetings & PRIVATE Events
Bargello® and Kimpton Hotel Arras share event space on the second floor, offering meeting and dining rooms for 6 to 90 guests and reception space for up to 120. Room rental charges vary with the size of the group, the date of the event, and the space that is used. From cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres to a multi-course dinner with our extensive wine list, you’ll experience the same level of service and culinary excellence as offered in our restaurant.
